Old Windows ... New Memories...

We have an old house - a small, old house. This being said, it is a house that has it's own story and now with our four boys growing up here, it has a new set of memories. I have heard the comment, "If these walls could talk..." but in this house it seems as if our windows would have the best stories. The windows in our house are about 5-6 feet long with a window sill deep enough for playing cars on, reading books in, or just watching the goings-on outside. Everyone of our boys have taken a turn losing themselves in these windows. Fortunately for me, 3 of the 4 decided to spend a lazy Tuesday together watching the squirrels and sharing a snack...

My 3 "little guys' all in one place (this does not happen much)...

Finally, Noah lost in thought ...

Only when shared with good company...

Thanks for a perfect end to the Christmas Holiday, Eli!

Goodbye 2011 / Hello 2012...

As we enter the New Year, it is a great time to think about things we would like to change. However, it is also a great time to think of the things that have happened in the past year. In doing so, I know that if 2012 is anything like 2011 - I am looking forward to it...

2011 Memories for our family...

A New Family Member - Noah Rainn Hornaman (3/3/2011)

A fun overnight field trip with Eli at the MN Zoo...

Hunter and Kellen's preschool graduation...

Then there was the trip to the lake for the 4th and Family Pics at Lagoon Park

Overall - looking forward to a new year of adventures with my boys!
